ÉTYM. 1839, Boiste, Suppl.; lat. sc. ægopodium, du grec aix, aigos « chèvre », et pous, podos « pied ». → Pode.
Bot. Plante ombellifère à fleur blanche ou rose, médicinale, appelée aussi podagraire, herbe aux goutteux, pied de chèvre.
